This is one of Hong Kong’s first Mitsubishi high speed lifts. Very deluxe classic Mitsubishi fittings are utilized. The floor buttons and the outside call buttons are of Mitsubishi feather-touch type, which are normally only found in those higher class models. The outside floor indicator is only found on the ground level. For the other floors, only two directional arrows are present. When the elevator arrives, a bell rings and one of the arrows lights up according to the direction it is to go. While the car is going through those floors not accessible, the light ‘G’ on the interior floor indicator flashes once when the car advances through one floor between G/F and 6/F, and ’13′ when between 7/F and 13/F.

My Mitsubishi eclipse gt with magnaflow performance exhaust. It was hard to find a good clip of the basic cat bat system so I decided to make one for future reference.

Don’t worry about the strange clicking sounds, that’s just me adjusting the seat back.

This is a Mitsubishi hydraulic lift with exactly the same powertrain as this one:

Nevertheless, it has a much more elegant car design, and with more modern equipment. On top of that, everything is totally Mitsubishi stuff.

But there is a weakness here: there is no outside floor indicator; just the call buttons and the directional arrows. All you can do is to press the call button and wait for it to go off and then the landing door to open.

The car interior shows the improvement of the designs in Mitsubishi lift equipment. There is a back-lit floor indicator, as well as round Mitsubishi floor buttons. So is a characteristic Mitsubishi arrival bell. A specialty is that when an outside call button is pressed, the floor button of the corresponding level lights up automatically. This is similar to some FIAM lift models.
