This dumbass truck driver got himself stuck in this monster pothole in our parking lot. After watching him flounder for a couple hours with no luck, I decided to go help.
The beaners that work across the way were putting cardboard & pallet pieces of wood under the tires with no luck… (shocker!!) lol My co-worker Dixon (credit for editing the cool video you’ll see) & I went over to take a look at our options. We didn’t see any towhooks or anything to hook to at first, so the truck driver was outta luck and about to call an industrial tow truck (super expensive!!!). But I took one last look and found that we could wrap a tow strap (the same one that pulled my wrecked Jeep off the mtn) around the truck’s axle. So we did that, hooked the tow strap to the winch and I attempted to pull him out.
I tried a combination of things… giving the Jeep steady gas in reverse while reeling in the winch (it drug me fwd); in neutral with the e-brake on reeling in the winch (drug me fwd), and finally floored it in reverse while reeling in the winch (as you’ll see tires smokin like NHRA!).
